Northfield Park’s Friday Night Lights Series concludes with a $15,000 final on Friday (November 7). The dash has been carded as the evening’s ninth race.
First-race post time for the card is 6 p.m.
Threefold Breanna has drawn Post 2 and has been named the 5-2 morning line favourite in the race. Second and third early favourites are Tarport Belle (PP5) and Work Week (PP6).
Threefold Breanna enters the race for owner/trainer William Beckley of Delaware, Ohio. Ryan Stahl will drive. Threefold Brianna has four wins this year from 15 starts and is sharp, as three of those wins have been paced in her last five outings. She has a lifetime mark of 1:53.4, which was taken over Northfield, and has a bankroll of $16,385.
Tarport Belle, the 7-2 second choice, enters the race off of two consecutive victories for trainer Jeff Hochstetler and driver Jason Thompson. She has been finding success on the front, but may have trouble in her quest for the lead with ample early speed to her inside.
Work Week has been named the 4-1 third favorite for her trainer Johnny Yoder and driver JD Wengerd. She has been the runner-up in both of her most recent efforts and will attempt to turn the tables on her competition.
