The Meadowlands Racetrack will open for live racing on Friday, November 13 and will race live on Fridays and Saturdays with first-race post times of 7:00 p.m. through the end of 2015.
The first qualifying session will take place on Friday, November 6 with first post at 9:30 a.m. Trainers must declare by 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 5. Online entry for the qualifiers is currently available.
In terms of qualifying standards, a horse must have a clean, charted line in 45 days for stakes. For overnight races, the horse must have a clean line that meets the track time standards within 45 days.
The 2015-2016 racing applications are available. Please complete, sign and fax both pages to 201-507-0182 (the deadline for racing application is November 5, 2015).
There will be a double draw on Monday, November 9 for both Friday, November 13 and Saturday, November 14 cards. The condition sheet will be available during the afternoon of Tuesday, November 3. Please note that the Meadowlands does not anticipate that many of the stakes listed will require elimination races for opening weekend, resulting in more overnight horses getting raced.
