Preferred Equine Marketing and Blue Chip Farms have announced that world champion Crazed will return to the New York stallion ranks in 2015.
The million dollar-winning son of Credit Winner stood at Blue Chip’s facility at the start of his stud career before moving to Hanover Shoe Farms in 2013. After siring both the two- and three-year-old New York Sire Stakes colt champions in 2014, the decision was made to return him to the Empire State.
“The sons and daughters of Crazed earned almost $1.6 million in the New York Sire Stakes program alone this past season,” said syndicate manager David Reid of Preferred Equine Marketing.
“With such a strong performance in the New York arena, and overwhelming support of the Crazed Syndicate in moving him, I’m delighted to partner with Blue Chip again in promoting and standing Crazed in 2015 and beyond,” he continued.
Crazed will stand for a stud fee of $5,000.
