Tuesday’s live program at The Raceway at Western Fair District will be bolstered by a $20,000 guaranteed pool on the early Super Hi-5 wager in Race 6.
The late Super Hi-5 on Monday went unsolved when 5-1 shot Clever Thing scored a mild upset in Race 10, which triggered a carryover of more than $5,700 into Tuesday’s action.
The 15 per cent takeout wager has become very popular at the London oval and is offered twice daily. Through the first two months of the season, the 20-cent payouts on the Super Hi-5 have averaged more than $1,000, including a $5,318 return in last Tuesday’s tenth race.
