Horse Racing New Brunswick is introducing an added-money series to its winter schedule in hopes of boosting the horse population for its January programs.

Eliminations for the Winterlude Pacing Series will be raced on January 7 and 14 at Exhibition Park Raceway in Saint John. The final will be contested January 21.

The series is an event for horses and mares four years old and older in 2012 that are non-winners of $6,000 ($7,500 for Maritime-breds) in 2011.

A nomination fee of $75 is due by noon on December 19 and complete details are available at the HRNB race office at EPR and on the Standardbred Canada website.

Nomination payments can be made at the race office or via credit card on the Standardbred Canada website by clicking here (must be signed in as SC website user).
