The I Love Canadian Harness Racing Fan Club contest for December is 'The Ugly Christmas Sweater' contest. We want to see which one of our Fan Club members has the ugliest Christmas sweater!
Submit a photo of yourself (or someone in your family) wearing an ugly Christmas sweater and email it to [email protected] by December 12 for your chance to win a $50 gift card at the racetrack of your choice, and a $50 Fan Club swag prize package.
We’ll also donate $50 in the winner’s name to the Children’s Wish Foundation who organize many Ugly Christmas Sweater events across the country.
From December 15 – 18, we’ll have an online poll with the finalists in the contest and let our FC members and web followers select our grand prize winner! On Friday, December 19, which happens to be the “Official Ugly Christmas Sweater Day” across the country, we’ll reveal the winner of the Ugly Christmas Sweater contest.

Reminder for What’s In A Name
Time is running out for the FC’s November contest, “What’s In A Name.” We want to hear from you if you were involved in the naming of a Standardbred horse, (could be your horse or someone else’s horse) or if you know an interesting story about how a horse was named.
In 250 words or less, tell us the story behind your horse's name, who named the horse and any other relevant details. Email your story to [email protected] by November 30, 2014.
