The Cattlewash Syndicate and Tara Hills Stud announced on Wednesday, Nov. 26 that the 2026 book for Cattlewash is now full and closed.
This will mark the fifth consecutive year Cattlewash is servicing a full book of mares standing in Ontario.
The connections of Cattlewash stated that they received an overwhelming number of applications following the incredible performances of his first two racing crops.
His first crop, in New Jersey, included Smooth Dream p,3,1:49.2, a winner of nine of 10 starts this year as a three-year-old and $377,664 in lifetime earnings.
Cattlewash’s second crop, in Ontario, was led by budding superstar Beau Jangles p,2,1:48.3s ($1,688,750), who is unbeaten in 12 dazzling performances, and filly A Clean Deal p,2,1:50s ($454,464), the top money earners in the Ontario Sires Stakes (OSS) program in 2025. Cattlewash's offspring had more in OSS two-year-old earnings than all other pacing sires.
Cattlewash, a son of Somebeachsomewhere out of Road Bet by Bettors Delight, stands at Tara Hills Stud in Port Perry, Ont., for a 2026 fee of $10,000 USD.
