Only one share remains in the 2017 SBOA (Standardbred Breeders of Ontario Association) New Owner Mentoring Group.

One prospective owner and eight other people can look forward to the journey of developing three Ontario-Sired yearlings into racehorses.

Under the expert guidance of top Ontario trainer Blake MacIntosh, you will see how these youngsters grow stronger and braver with each lesson. He and group mentor, Tammy McNiven, will keep owners informed of each horse’s progress. On Saturday, prospective owners have an opportunity to meet Blake and Tammy and the three yearlings this weekend. Watch them train. Ask questions. Enjoy the fresh air and the morning training routine with family and friends.

The Blake MacIntosh Stable Open House starts bright and early at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, November 25 at the Meadowbranch Training Centre (behind Flamboro Downs). The three SBOA three yearlings: Record Year, Sportjet Ray, and Giverngogo will be on display.

► Record Year, a bay colt from Shadow Play out of Streisands Place, will be coming out on the track at 8:55 a.m.

► Sportjet Ray, a grey filly from Sportswriter our of Woes Jet Filly, will be coming out on the track at 9:50 a.m.

► Giveherngogo, a brown filly from Betterthancheddar out of Mimis Luck, will be coming on the track at 10:15 a.m.

Those with prior commitments this Saturday can still catch the training miles, as the yearlings with be recorded by a drone with video posted after the Open House on Blake’s website.
