Eugene ‘Gene’ Frost Passes

Eugene ‘Gene’ Frost, 86, of Delray Beach, Fla., who proudly stood in the Hambletonian winner's circle with his wife, Deena, and Continentalvictory, passed away on Sunday, October 25, at his home.

Frost and his wife campaigned many stakes-winning trotters during 45 years of involvement in harness racing, with Continentalvictory most certainly the best of the bunch.

Born in Boston, MA, Frost was a son of the late Jack and Marion Frost. He served his country with the US Marines. He was the CEO of a major packaging company in Massachusetts.

In addition to his wife of 45 years, Gene is survived by daughters, Tammy, Terry and Donna; sons, David, Mitchell and Dennis; granddaughters Nicole, Heather, Jennifer, Amanda, Morgan and Ashley; and grandsons, Gabe, Zachary, Matthew, Dustin, Jesse and Clayton.

A Memorial Mass was celebrated November 4 at St. Lucy Catholic Church, 3510 S Ocean Blvd, Highland Beach, FL 33487. Inurnment services with military honours was held immediately following at South Florida National Cemetery, Lake Worth, FL. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
