Northfield Park has announced the addition of a guaranteed pool for one of the track’s exotic wagers on Monday (Nov. 18).
The track has announced that there will be a $7,500 Pick-5 total-pool guarantee on Monday.
Beginning in Race 2, the guaranteed total pool will include a carryover of $1,770.
The wager is being offered as part of the Strategic Wagering Program through the United States Trotting Association.
The evening's ninth race will kick off the 20-cent Northfield Single Six which now features a $95,496 carryover
Northfield’s Pick-5, Pick-4s, Pick-3s, 20-cent Super High Five and 20-cent Northfield Single Six offer a reduced takeout rate of just 14 per cent.
Monday’s first race will head behind the starter at 6 p.m.
