It’s a weekend full of racing at Red Shores Racetrack & Casino at the Charlottetown Driving Park

.

All Out, owned by the Dale and Ronnie Rennie Stable of Elmsdale and trained by David Rose, is the morning line favourite in the Saturday top class scheduled for post at 3:50 p.m. (AST). Mark Bradley will handle the five-year-old son of Cammibest who will be making his 31st start of the season from Post 4.

In the Sunday feature, Riccaras Sun drew the rail for driver Marc Campbell. The pacer, trained by Trevor Hicken, will meet a tough field in the $2,200 event, including Oakrock Almighty, who paced his last mile in 1:55.3, and Outlawpositivcharg, who’s been a major threat in any race at every track this season. Then, Highland Gladiator, winner of Summerside’s top class last week, and top guns like Last Art On Deck, Carnivore and Blue Star Outlaw will apply pressure in the race dubbed 'Wild Horses,' as the popular promotion continues. Trainer Gerald MacDougall has listed Mark Cullen to drive Incredible Mike. The Judy MacLeod-owned pacer’s victory last week was his second win in a row.

Cullen enjoys the lead in the Johnston’s Salads, Keybrand Foods Inc. Trot Challenge standings with 147 points. The division awards points to drivers with trotters throughout the season. Marc Campbell, who has won most of the hardware this season so far, also is in reach to take the top spot as he sits second with 143 points going into the weekend. Willie Murphy is third with 136. Ron Gass and Ralph Annear complete the top five. The competition will end on December 31.

First-race post time for each card will be 1:00 p.m.
