The Maritime Provinces Harness Racing Commission has issued notices of hearings for four slots in January, 2010 in order for the commission to hear submissions for
rule changes.

The release states to take notice that any licensee of the commission wishing to speak at said hearing(s) must submit their written representations to the attention of Frank Balcom, chair, Maritime Provinces Harness Racing Commission, P.O. Box 128, 5 Gerald McCarville Drive, Kensington, PEI, C0B 1M0 not later than Friday, the 11th day of December, 2009 at 5:00 p.m. and/or by fax to 902-836-5320 or email to [email protected] and/or [email protected]
The release also states to take notice that said hearing(s) are closed to parties who do not have standing to appear before the commission. The chair shall grant fifteen (15) minutes to those individuals with 'standing' to speak at said hearing(s) to outline and highlight their written submission. The Maritime Provinces Harness Racing Commission will not be making a final determination on the Rule Changes on the date(s) of said hearing(s).
The release also states to take further notice that the commission shall respond to all written and oral submissions on or before March 12, 2010.
