The registration for mares bred in 2023 to be eligible for Ohio Breeder’s Awards must be postmarked by Nov. 30.
Registrations received with postmarks after Nov. 30 will be charged a $100 late fee.
To be eligible for Breeder’s Awards, mares must be bred to a registered Ohio Standardbred stallion, must foal in Ohio and the mare must remain in Ohio for 187 consecutive days in the year of foaling. All owners of the mare must be Ohio Harness Horsemen’s Association members and new forms must be completed each year that the mare is bred.
