This week’s guest on the Harness Racing Alumni Show is Joe De Francis, a board member of the Horseracing Integrity & Safety Authority (HISA) and the former majority owner of both Pimlico and Laurel Racetracks.
De Francis gives an update stating that the HISA documentation will be released very shortly to the public for review. De Francis tells Freddie, Trade and Bob about the positive virtual meeting that took place between HISA and some of harness racing's industry leaders. While putting to rest some untrue rumours that have been told to the harness racing industry, De Francis explains that HISA understands the differences in the breeds
and will work with our industry to establish the proper guidelines.
