It has been announced that World Champion Temple Of Doom 3,1:52.4f ($697,405) has been retired and will stand the 2012 breeding season at Victory Hill Farms

in Indiana.

A royally-bred son of Yankee Glide and from the multiple Grand Circuit stakes winner Armbro Temple 3,1:54 ($406,901 at two and three), Temple Of Doom brings to Indiana a pedigree loaded with World Champions, Grand Circuit and international winners. His second dam is the brilliant World Champion and U.S. trotting filly of the year at ages two and four, Delmegan 4,T1:55.1 ($469.963). His third dam is the U.S. Horse of the Year and International Trot Winner Delmonica Hanover 1:59.2 ($832,925).

The four-year-old Temple Of Doom attained World Champion status in winning the Zweig Memorial at Tioga Downs with a courageous stakes and track record 1:52.4f mile over the five-eighths mile track. He consistently competed with the very best of his generation at two and three for owner Robert Rosenheim Stables.

“I believe Temple Of Doom will prove to be an exceptional addition to the exciting Indiana program and give breeders an opportunity to breed to a very talented son of the leading sire Yankee Glide,” said Bob Boni of Northwood Bloodstock, who arranged the transaction.

“Jeff and Maria King have done an outstanding job and they are clearly among the very best in the state. There is an exceptional stakes program in Indiana and Temple Of Doom should prove to be very popular.”

Victory Hill Farm also stands Always A Virgin, Swan For All and Rockin Image.

A service of $3,000 has been established for Temple Of Doom.
