The 2023 class of Seelster Farms’ yearlings awaits buyer inspection this week at the farm and next week beginning Monday, Oct. 16 at the Western Fair Agriplex for the London Classic Yearling Sale.
To dispel the myths circulating, the farm acknowledges that during the summer months, the Strangles virus was introduced into a small, isolated group of mares and foals, from its seasonal boarding horses.
Seelster Farms is 100 per cent confident that the virus has been contained, resolved and was never introduced into its yearling population, who are housed at a separate facility. In order to confirm that fact and to give every buyer confidence to bring home a Seelster yearling, each horse sells with two recent laboratory tests confirming their status as virus negative.
If there are any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact the farm. Seelster looks forward to buyer inspection and wishes everyone the best of luck for a successful sale.
