The Meadowlands Racetrack will re-open to patrons tomorrow (Saturday, Oct. 10) at 11 a.m. for simulcasting, sports wagering and live racing.

A press release issued by the New Jersey racetrack on Friday evening stated that the entire facility underwent top to bottom sanitization and all employees were COVID-19 tested. It also noted that the Meadowlands Racetrack continues its commitment to providing a safe and healthy grandstand for all employees, patrons and fans.

Patrons are reminded that face masks must be worn over their nose and mouth at all times and social distancing must be followed.

Live harness racing will take place at 7:15 p.m. on Saturday night. Horsemen are reminded to have the COVID-19 questionnaire completed when arriving at the stable gate for their temperature check. Face masks worn over the mouth and nose are required at all times while in the paddock.
