Voting closes Wednesday, October 10 at 10 a.m. (EST) for the best guest announcer in Grand River Raceway’s From Bike To Mic series.
The initiative put 16 drivers, trainers and track personnel in the announcer’s booth during Grand River Raceway’s Fun & Frivolity Friday Night cards.
An online poll is now open on the track’s website, with videos of all the calls.
The contenders are (in order of appearance): Ryan Holliday, Scott Young, Bob McClure, Anthony Haughan, Jody Jamieson, James MacDonald, Dave Boughton, Rob Sparling Jr., Nick Boyd, Aaron Byron, Mike Sinclair, Carmen Auciello, Greg Gangle, Anthony MacDonald, Jen Rankin, and Travis Bowman.
The top three fan favourites will advance to the final round, where pro announcers Gary Guy, Ken Middleton and Greg Blanchard will determine the best of bunch. The winner will be crowned during the track’s final race card of 2012 on October 12.
