Officials with The Raceway at Western Fair District would like to remind horsepeople that the first qualifiers of its upcoming season will take place this Friday morning (October 7) at 11 a.m.
Please note that beginning next week (October 14) the track will be open for training on Fridays only at 9 a.m., prior to the qualifying races. The track will be closed for training on Wednesdays until renovations to the grandstand have been completed later this fall.
The first live program of the season will take place this Friday night with first post at 7:05 p.m. The card will coincide with the kick-off of the second annual Oktoberfest Celebration that will be happening at Western Fair District.
