ORC Issues Four Rulings

On Wednesday, October 30 the Ontario Racing Commission issued rulings in regard to horsemen Tyler Borth, Doug McNair, Jason Ryan and Robert Sparling Jr.

In regard to Tyler Borth, he was appealing a driving suspension. The ORC Panel denied the appeal and ruled that Borth would serve his three-day driving suspension from October 23, 2013 to October 25, 2013, inclusive. To view a copy of the ORC ruling in the matter, click here.

In regard to Doug McNair, an ORC Panel adjourned an October 17 meeting relating to the matter until a future date. The date has yet to be determined by ORC Administration.

In relation to Jason Ryan, an ORC Panel denied his appeal in regard to a driving suspension. The ORC ruling states that Ryan will serve a 10-day driving suspension from October 23, 2013 until November 1, 2013, inclusive. To view a copy of the ruling, click here.

In regard to Robert Sparling Jr., the ORC Panel which heard his appeal and request for hearing in relation to an incident at Dresden Raceway denied the appeal. To view a copy of the ruling, click here.
