On Saturday, November 10, the Meadowlands Racetrack will be hosting a five-course beer dinner featuring Long Island’s Blue Point Brewing Company.
Each course will be expertly paired by executive chef Dennis Sammarone to showcase Blue Point’s brews.
1st course: Crispy Calamari with ginger, garlic and soy paired with Blue Point Beach Plum Gose
2nd course: Chicken Quesadilla with spicy roasted tomatillo salsa paired with Blue Point Mosaic IPA
3rd course: Rigatoni Bolognese with Sam Marzano tomatoes and Pecorino cheese with Blue Point Toasted Lager
4th course: French-Cut Pork Chop with hot & sweet vinegar pepper sauce accompanied by butternut squash & wild mushrooms paired withBlue Point Prop Stopper IPA
5th course: Belgium Chocolate Cake with fresh raspberry cream paired with Blue Point Sour Cherry Imperial Stout
Beer dinner guests also get a show on the racetrack, as live harness racing will kick off at 7:15 p.m.
