Blue Chip Farms has announced the ‘Blue Chip Advantage’ for year-round boarding mares. A release from Blue Chip explains that mare owners will be able to leverage Blue Chip’s substantial and continuing investment in its equine reproductive infrastructure for their benefit.
The Blue Chip Advantage philosophy is based on 14 years of accumulated data from its New York operation which shows that on farm managed mares have higher in foal rates than those mares bred via shipped semen or on a transient basis.

Dr. Burns expertise has enabled us to reduce the number of cycles needed, on average, to get a mare pregnant.” Boarding packages will also be available for multiple mare owners.
