Meridian Farms has announced that it is enhancing its breeding operations in both Eastern and Western

Canada in 2010.

Brandons Cowboy (p,1.50.2, $517,051), the well-received son of The Panderosa, is returning to Western Canada to stand the 2010 season. From his first crop in Alberta, Brandons Cowboy is already the sire of five two-year-old stakes winners in 2009, including Evergreen Park track record holders Flak Jacket (p,2,1.57.2h) and Rossridge Fortune (p,2, 2.00.3h). Brandons Cowboy will be standing at Meridian Farms, High River, Alberta for a fee of $1,500 live foal.

Aahm Canadian Now (p,1.49.3, $808,855), a son of Cams Card Shark from the good producing dam Mattventurous, will be standing his first season at stud in 2010. Aahm Canadian Now won 43 lifetime races, including a sweep of the Snowshoe Pacing Series and a leg of the Youthful Pacing Series at three and the Des Smith Classic. Aahm Canadian Now will be standing at Meridian Farms, Milton, Prince Edward Island in 2010 for a fee of $750 live foal.

Ameripan Gigolo (p,1.50, $470,996) the well-bred son of Artsplace from the World Champion millionaire pacing mare Town Pro, will be moving to Atlantic Canada. Ameripan Gigolo won a Metro Stakes elimination at two and was third in the final. At three, he won the Jug Preview and was third in the Hoosier Cup. From four small crops, Ameripan Gigolo is already the sire of 34 winners from 56 foals of racing age, including New York Sires Stakes winners Val America (p,1.54h, $157,757) and In The Jungle (p,3,1.51.4s, $106,365). Ameripan Gigolo will be standing at Meridian Farms, Milton, Prince Edward Island in 2010 for a fee of $750 live foal.
