Ron Keeling Passes

Ronald Stewart Keeling (Butch) passed away peacefully on Aug. 19, 2025 in his 84th year.

Beloved husband of 63 year to June (nee Abernethy). Loving father of five, cherished grandfather of 11 and proud great-grandfather of nine.

Retired after 40 years as an auto mechanic at 55, he devoted his retirement years to travel and his passion for raising and training harness racehorses. He will be remembered for his devotion to family and his zest for life.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, Nov. 8 between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. at Brian E. Woods Funeral Home, located at 250 14th St. W., Owen Sound, ON. All are welcome to come together, share memories and honour Ron’s life. Casual attire is welcome.
