Northfield Park is announcing the addition of a $25,000 Pick-5 total pool guarantee on Monday (Oct. 28).
Beginning in Race 2, the $25,000 Pick 5 guaranteed total pool includes a carryover of $6,724.
This wager is being offered as part of the Strategic Wagering Program through the United States Trotting Association.
The evening’s ninth race offers the 20-cent Northfield Single Six which features a $23,296 carryover.
Northfield’s Pick-5, Pick-4s, Pick-3s, 20-cent Super High Five and 20-cent Northfield Single Six offer a reduced takeout rate of just 14 percent.
