This is your last chance to bid in the Keith & Ron Waples Tribute Night online auction.
The online auction, available at waplestribute.com, features stallion services, golf excursions, sporting events, racetrack entertainment packages as well as harness racing-related goods and services.
All minimum bid increments have been reduced for the final day. Don't wait until the last minute! Bidders must register with the auction site and confirm registration before bidding, with all items closing on Monday, October 27. Items close between 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. Eastern Time.
Note that for all stallion services, a non-refundable deposit of $500 is due at the conclusion of the auction with the remainder due upon the birth of a live foal.
The online auction is part of the tribute night for Keith and Ron Waples, a fundraiser for the educational funds for Paige and Paula Austin. Paige and Paula are daughters of trainer Mark Austin, who passed away suddenly last month.
A select number of items will be offered through silent auction at the Tribute Night, set for Wednesday, Oct. 29 at Mohawk Racetrack. Due to overwhelming demand, the function will now be moved to a larger room at Mohawk. As a result, a limited number of tickets are still available.
