While the phrase 'it all comes down to the Breeders Crown' most commonly applies to how many participants in harness racing feel divisional honours will be decided, the prestigious series will unquestionably play a major role in the 2018 Trot Magazine Fantasy Stable.
With a total of 11 stables boasting bankrolls in excess of $5 million, this weekend's stakes finals could cause a shakeup atop the leaderboard. Horses that win Breeders Crown finals also receive a $200,000 contest bankroll bonus.
Dennis Rock's Two Rocks Stable sports a bankroll in excess of $5.63 million to top the standings, some $50,000 ahead of Paul Fisher's PF37JF96 Stable.
A number of horses competing in this weekend's Breeders Crown Finals are part of the 2018 Trot Magazine Fantasy Stable and thus eligible for the contest bonus.
