On July 6, 2019 at the Meadowlands Racetrack, Lather Up equalled Always B Miki’s world record time for the mile in 1:46 in the $250,000 Graduate final for four-year-old male pacers. Roughly one month later at the Meadowlands, Lather Up established the world record for the distance of one and one-eighth miles (1:59.2) after an internal fraction for the mile in 1:46.3. In all, Lather Up set six track records at ages two, three, and four.
Lather Up’s many track record performances are impressive and unmatched. He has beat millionaires the likes of McWicked, Jimmy Freight, Courtly Choice and others. He has established himself as a dominant force on the track. Diamond Creek is excited to have him stand stud at its Davenport, NY farm.
