Due to the immediate success of the Pick-5 wager, officials at The Raceway at Western Fair District are pleased to introduce a second Pick-5 wager. The wager will begin on Monday (Oct. 26).
The Raceway will also shift its Early Super Hi-5 from race 6 to race 5. This will allow the final leg of the Early Pick-5 to offer a nine-horse field, and will also allow the Late Pick-5 to stand alone in race 6 as a key wager.
The wagering menu, while offering 12 races, will look like the following:
• Race 1: Early Pick-5 ($2,500 guaranteed pool)
• Race 4: Early Pick-4 ($7,500 on Mon. and Wed., $5,000 on Fridays)
• Race 5: Early Super Hi-5
• Race 6: Late Pick-5 ($2,500)
• Race 8: Late Pick-4 ($7,500 on Mon. and Wed., $5,000 on Fridays)
• Race 10: Late Pick-3
• Race 12: Late Super Hi-5
The Raceway is pleased to offer these seven wagers nightly with a low 15 per cent takeout.
