Northfield Park is announcing the addition of a $10,000 Pick-5 and $40,000 Pick-4 total pool guarantee on Monday (Oct. 21).
Beginning in Race 2, the $10,000 Pick-5 guaranteed total pool includes a carryover of $3,193.
Beginning in Race 7, the $40,000 Pick-4 guaranteed total pool includes a carryover of $9,592.
The wager is being offered as part of the Strategic Wagering Program through the United States Trotting Association.
The evening's ninth race features the 20¢ Northfield Single Six with a $10,473 carryover.
Northfield’s Pick-5, Pick-4s, Pick-3s, 20¢ Super High Five and 20¢ Northfield Single Six offer a reduced takeout rate of just 14 per cent.
