Trot Insider has learned of a number of changes in advance of this weekend's Breeders Crown Finals, including the early scratch of one elimination winner.

Millies Possesion has been scratched from Saturday's Breeders Crown Three-Year-Old Filly Trot Final. Also Eligible Dark As A Pocket draws in to start from Post 10.

Dancin Lou captured his elimination in the Three-Year-Old Colt Pace for driver Dexter Dunn, but he’s sticking with Bettors Wish in Saturday’s final. The connections of the sophomore have tapped Andrew McCarthy on the shoulder to catch-drive the talented son of Sweet Lou-Dancewiththebest.

The Tahnee Camilleri trainee shot up the pylons to win last week’s elimination in 1:50.1 with a final quarter clocked in :25.4. The pacer will look to bolster a 10-for-17 record on Saturday evening.

The connections of Pepsi North America Cup champion Captain Crunch have turned the lines over to driver Yannick Gingras in the Three-Year-Old Colt Pace on the heels of finishing third when favoured in last weekend’s elimination.

The Nancy Johansson trainee, who was paired up with Scott Zeron for his first 12 starts of the season, hasn’t won a race the Cane Pace in early August. The son of Captaintreacherous-Sweet Paprika will try to win back-to-back Breeders Crown titles for 3 Brothers Stables, Christina Takter, Rojan Stables and Caviart Farms.

The Breeders Crown Open Trot has a number of driver changes, one of which is still pending.

Chris Page has picked up the assignment on the Ron Burke-trained Mission Accepted.

Fresh off of his win in the $250,000 Harry Harvey at Yonkers Raceway, the four-year-old son of Manofmanymissions-Witty Girl will look to build on his 5-5-3 record from 20 starts this season.

The Jeff Gillis-trained Will Take Charge will be teamed up with Dexter Dunn, who manufactured a six-win performance – five of which were Breeders Crown eliminations – last Saturday at Woodbine Mohawk Park.

The six-year-old son of Kadabra-Celebrity Angel is a 26-time winner who has put together a solid 5-4-3 record from 19 starts this season.

Fiftydallarbill has yet to be paired up with a driver. All changes will be finalized Wednesday morning.
