For many in New Jersey, there's no more iconic and beloved TV series than The Sopranos. By capturing a slice of New Jersey forever immortalized in the pop culture zeitgeist, The Sopranos became forever immortalized in television history. That’s why, in honour of The Sopranos 20th Anniversary, die-hard fans can enjoy SopranosCon, an interactive fan experience “for the fans, by the fans.”

Visually inspired by the Feast of St. Eleazar, die-hard fans will enjoy one-of-a-kind art, exhibits, vendors, music, cosplay, games, contests, comedy, photographs, autographs and so much more. The event takes place at the Meadowlands Exposition Center in Secaucus, N.J. on Saturday, Nov. 23 and Sunday, Nov. 24. Tickets are available at sopranoscon.com

Meadowlands Racing & Entertainment, the best in harness racing and home to the FanDuel Sportsbook, brings about a similar, quintessential Jersey feeling and couldn’t be a more perfect sponsor for SopranosCon. The Sopranos had some of the most amazing, classic Jersey scenes and characters. Meadowlands Racing & Entertainment was fortunate to play a small role when the old grandstand was used as a backdrop for an airport in Season 2.

And everyone knows how much Tony Soprano loved horse racing... and of course horses! Tony's favourite horse, “Pie O My,” who was killed on the show but in real life remains alive and well, will be at Meadowlands Racing & Entertainment on Friday, November 22 from 6:00 - 7:00 p.m. right before live harness racing begins at 7:15.

Fans are encouraged to come out, take photos and get up close and personal with Pie O My. Admission and parking are free for this horse “meet and greet.”

Also, on Saturday, November 9, guests visiting Meadowlands Racing & Entertainment can enter to win a pair of tickets to SopranosCon. No purchase necessary.
