The 2020 London Virtual Yearling Sale kicked off on Saturday, October 17. Please note that Session Three auctions are scheduled to close today (Wednesday, Oct. 21) and that the sale starts bidding every day at 8:00 a.m.
Thirty-five yearlings sold during the sale's first session. Goldrush Seelster, a son of Bettors Delight and the first foal from the Ontario Sires Stakes Gold winner Glamour Seelster, topped the first session, as he attracted a winning bid of of $201,000 CAD ($154,000 USD) from Gregg McNair. Addison Seelster, a filly by Bettors Delight and from a full sister to champion racemare Rocklamation brought a winning bid of $103,500 CAD from Amanda Fine on Tuesday. For more information on the second session, click here.
Sessions One and Two have grossed a combined $2,355,380 CAD for an average of $34,637. Auctions for the third and final session will end on Wednesday afternoon.
