Trot Insider has learned that seven race dates that had been scheduled for Truro Raceway this fall have been cancelled.
The cancelled dates, all of which are Fridays, had been scheduled for November 8, 15, 22, 29 and December 6, 13 and 20.
The track is still scheduled to host programs of live racing on October 18 and 25 and November 1.
The Atlantic Provinces Harness Racing Commission has given the green light for the cancellations.
