Lucy Bailey, wife of well known Cape Breton Island horseman Kevin Bailey and mother of driver-trainer Greg Bailey, passed away at Cape Breton Regional Hospital in Sydney
on Tuesday, October 13.
A native of New Waterford, Lucy worked at the Children’s Rehabilitation Centre in Sydney for many years and the Pharmasave Drug Store.
She was actively involved with her husband Kevin and son Greg in their racing stable.
A funeral mass will be held Friday, October 16 at 10.00 a.m. at the Parish Church of Saint Leonard’s, Mount Carmel Avenue, New Waterford.
