There’s just less than a month until top handicappers from across the country assemble in London, Ont. to compete in the 2011 edition of the Trot Canada National Handicapping Championship
. Here’s an update on the handful of qualifying events remaining.
Rideau Carleton Raceway, The Raceway at Western Fair District, and Woodbine Racetrack will be hosting qualifying events in the coming weeks. Standardbred Canada will also have a couple of online qualifying contests, including one that will be exclusive to members of the I Love Canadian Harness Racing Fan Club.
Rideau Carleton Raceway will be hosting a qualifying event for the Trot Canada National Handicapping Championship this Sunday, October 16. For more information, contact Anne Davis at (613) 822-2211 ext. 237.
Next week, The Raceway at Western Fair will kick off their qualifying events for six coveted spots in the TCNHC. Qualifying events take place on October 21, 22, 28 and 29 with the finals on November 4. Click here to check out the rules. For more information, contact Jan White at 519-438-7203.
On Saturday, October 29, Woodbine Racetrack hosts an Extreme Betting Contest on Breeders Crown night. The winner of this event will advance to the TCNHC.
Watch for announcements on SC’s online contests next week! The winners of these events will compete in the TCNHC scheduled for The Raceway at the Western Fair District in London, Ont. on Saturday, November 12, featuring a $25,000 Grand Prize.
