If you’ve never owned a racehorse before and are coming out to the London Selected Yearling Sale this weekend, make sure you stop by the Welcome Centre to enter “The Win A Share in a Racehorse” contest on Saturday and Sunday.
The winner of this contest, sponsored by the Ontario Sires Stakes and presented in conjunction with the LSYS, will receive a share ($2,000 value) in LandMark 11 Stable which already includes two Ontario-sired horses.
LandMark 11 is a ‘fractional ownership’ group stable that provides an opportunity for people to own multiple Standardbred racehorses for a modest investment, with shares at $2,000. LandMark 11 will purchase a percentage of several yearlings at this year’s sales, which will be selected, trained and raced by Ontario-based trainer Mark Steacy. Shareholders will receive no bills for the first 12 months.

The London Selected Yearling Sale, presented by Standardbred Canada and Forest City Sales, takes place on October 14 and 15 at the Metroland Media Agriplex at the Western Fair District in London, Ontario.
