Longtime Standardbred Canada member and former owner Dorothy Marie Peters of Erin, Ont. passed away on the morning of January 4 at the age of 90.
A beloved wife and sweet and thoughtful mother, she leaves behind the love of her life of 72 years, Archie, along with her children, George (Marcia), Susan (Don), Virginia. She also leaves behind her grandchildren, Bryan (great-grandchildren, Jack and Danica), Jodi (predeceased) and Nick. Predeceased by her parents Leonard and Maria along with her eight siblings, Bessie, Normie, Jessie, Mary, Owen, John, Jim and Art.
She will be sadly missed but forever remembered in the hearts of her family and friends.
The family would like to extend their sincerest thanks to the Wellington Community Paramedics, PSW's Nebiyate and Ziggy, CBI Homehealth, WWLHIN, and the Guelph General Hospital staff and doctors. Many thanks to Dr. Lucille Chan and the East Wellington Family Health Team.
A private graveside service will take place at Glendale Memorial Gardens.
