Officials with Morrisville College have announced the addition of former world champion Third Straight p, 3, 1:53.3s, 3, 1:50.1f ($321,662) to its stallion roster.
As a two-year-old, Third Straight held his own against the likes of Mach Three and Western Shooter, as he finished second in his Breeders Crown elimination (and finished fifth in the final), Bluegrass and third in Champlain and in his Governor’s Cup elimination and final. At three, he was a PASS winner, was second in his Adios elim, and finished third in the Meadowlands Pace consolation. He was also a multiple stakes winner as an aged performer.
From limited opportunity as a sire to date, Third Straight has sired Itrustyou p, 1:48.2f ($748,129), Dark Alley Sally p, 4, 1:52.4s ($467,515), Straight Dancer p, 1:54.2s ($305,886), etc.
Third Straight’s dam is the $296,000 winner Terrie Letsgo p, 3, 1:53.1 who has also produced Tremor Hanover p, 1:51f ($585,877).
The 2016 fee for Third Straight is $1,000. All foals are New York Sire Stakes and Breeders Crown Eligible.
