Clinton Accepting Race Day Fundraising Applications

Clinton Raceway is now accepting applications for its 2026 Day at the Races Fundraising Program and invites local groups, clubs and organizations to take part in a summer tradition that truly goes beyond the race.

The 2026 live harness racing season will run for 15 weeks from Victoria Day through Labour Day (pending regulatory approval), with participating organizations able to host their own Day at the Races during this stretch of live racing.

Day at the Races has become a meaningful way for Clinton Raceway to give back to the community. In 2025, the program raised more than $77,000 for local organizations, helping support sports teams, charities, service clubs and community initiatives throughout the region.

"Going beyond the race means supporting the people and organizations that make our community strong,” said Jessica Carnochan, Marketing Manager at Clinton Raceway. “Day at the Races is about more than fundraising — it’s about bringing people together for a fun day at the track while making a real difference locally."

The program offers an easy-to-promote, high-energy fundraising opportunity, combining the excitement of live harness racing with a welcoming, family-friendly atmosphere. It’s a memorable experience for supporters and a valuable source of funding for participating groups.

Community groups, sports teams, non-profit organizations, charities and service clubs are encouraged to apply. Fundraising dates are limited and applications will be reviewed by Clinton Raceway management and assigned accordingly. The form will remain open for the month of January, with dates being assigned early February.
