Bowden Joins Youth Foundation Board

Adam Bowden, the innovative leader of Diamond Creek Farm, has been elected to the Board of Trustees of the Harness Horse Youth Foundation (HHYF).

The Maine native cut his harness racing teeth at Scarborough and Lewiston Downs in Maine, but he is now active on a far larger stage.

Bowden’s involvement and support of HHYF are just part of that larger picture.

“Not too long ago I was a kid growing up going to the track with my father, and now that I am a dad with two young girls, I can only hope they inherit the same love and passion I have for the sport.

“Due to the opportunities that the Harness Horse Youth Foundation has developed, more and more young people have access to the sport we all know and love. I am told over and over that my generation is the future of the sport, but I think we are the sport's present and the kids today represent the future. It is our job to expose them to it. No other organization does a better job. I am truly honoured to be part of the future."

HHYF Board President Marlys Pinske remarked, “I am very pleased that the board of Harness Horse Youth Foundation has chosen to appoint Adam Bowden as a member. In his capacity at Diamond Creek Farm, he has been an ardent benefactor of Harness Horse Youth Foundation.”
