Trot Insider has learned pacing mare Victim Of Love died Tuesday morning.
Trainer Wayne Preszcator co-owned the eight-year-old daughter of No Pan Intended-Beach Crystal with Harness Racing Canada Inc, Guy Haskell and Fred Haskell. According to Haskell, the mare suffered an apparent heart attack while jogging.
“She was a great mare on the smaller tracks and she gave 110% every time she raced,” said co-owner Fred Haskell. “She will be sadly missed.”
Victim Of Love assembled a 9-for-41 record last year and banked more than $76,000. The 23-time winner, who took a mark of 1:51.4 as a six-year-old, recorded earnings of $351,185.

We visited with 'Vicky' last
We visited with 'Vicky' last July at Victory Lane Farms. She was an absolute sweetheart who would nuzzle up to you, resting her chin on your shoulder. Very sad and shocked to hear what happened. Heartfelt condolences to Fred, Rose, Guy, Ruth Ann and Wayne.
