The first Sunday card at Cal-Expo — which takes place tonight (Jan. 3) — will find fans greeted with a $9,700 carryover and a $40,000 guaranteed gross pool in the early Pick-5.
The early 20-cent Pick-5 begins in the first event on the 12-race program and comes with a reduced 16 per cent takeout rate. That lower rate also applies to the 20-cent late Pick-5 and the 20-cent Pick-4.
