A racetrack that has been long committed to giving back to a wide array of groups and clubs is inviting all interested individuals to send in an application for Clinton Raceway's Day at the Races fundraising program.
"Due to the increased interest in our program and limited dates for fundraisers we've implemented an application process," comments marketing manager Jessica Carnochan. "Our goal is to help as many interested parties as possible, and this ensures that all those interested receive a chance."
Events at the track can include BBQs, bake sales, silent and penny auctions and car washes with nothing really being out of the question.
"We work with the groups to customize the event based on their preference and abilities, as well as fundraising goals," states Carnochan.
Groups can raise anywhere from $500-$5,000 during a Sunday afternoon.
"It provides a fun afternoon with exciting entertainment for people who are attending and entices those who have never experienced the thrill of live harness racing an added reason to come out and enjoy a summer afternoon at the track" adds Carnochan.
