Details of a celebration of life for horseman Jay Sears, who passed away on January 12, have been announced.
The event will be taking place on Saturday, February 22, in Pompano Beach, Florida.
The celebration of life will be held from 5-7 p.m. at Kraeer Funeral Home & Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, 200 W Copans Rd., Pompano Beach, FL 33064.
Sears, a consummate horseman and the father of Hall of Fame driver Brian Sears, passed away on January 12 at the age of 78. Sears, who lived on a farm in Osteen, Fla., on the St. John's River, had been working on his farm just days earlier. For more information, click here.
