On Wednesday (January 21) the live card at the Meadows will feature two total pool guarantees — a $12,500 guarantee for the Pick-4 and a $5,000 guarantee for the Pick-5.
Both are offered as part of the United States Trotting Association's Strategic Wagering Initiative.
The Meadows added the ‘instant’ guarantees after Tuesday’s Pick-4 and Pick-5 were uncovered, resulting in carryovers of $3,566.69 and $1,426.18, respectively.
Minimum wager for the Pick-4 (Races 4-7) and Pick-5 (Races 10-14) is 50 cents. Since Pennsylvania law requires a minimum per-race wager of $2, a player wagering at the 50-cent level must bet at least four tickets.
