Officials with Yonkers Raceway have announced that the track will be offering a guaranteed pool for its Pick 5 wager on Monday (Jan. 21).
The Pick 5 wager will start with a carryover of $3,501.25 and a $15,000 guaranteed pool. The guarantee is in conjunction with the U.S. Trotting Association’s Strategic Wagering Program.
The Pick 5 is a 50-cent base wager comprising Races 6 through 10 Monday night.
The wager has no consolation payoff, meaning that if no one selects all five winners (as was the case Friday night; Saturday’s card was cancelled), the entire pool (minus takeout) moves to the next racing program.
