Yonkers Raceway will begin its 238-program, 2018 live season this coming Sunday (January 7), with a 12-race matinee card.
The program will kick off with an 11:30 a.m. first-race post time.
Races 2 ($50,000 Open Handicap, post time 12:15 p.m.) through 8 (post time 3:15 p.m.) will feature overflow fields and added distances, thus they will make up the ‘French’ trots on the program. Final race post time will be 4:35 p.m.
Please note that the sequence for Sunday’s ‘New York, New York Double,’ featuring one race from Aqueduct and one race from Yonkers, has not been finalized.
Yonkers’ January schedule includes all Sundays (remaining post times to be announced), along with Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Saturday evenings (post time 7:10 p.m.). All dates are pending approval of the New York State Gaming Commission.
