Due to the generous donation from Fair Island Farm, the Harness Horse Youth Foundation (HHYF) will receive the proceeds from a 2022 breeding to Bettors Wish (p, 1:47.3 $2,601,233; standing at Diamond Creek Farm, PA).
"HHYF is now in the middle of planning our summer schedule, so this donation comes at just the right time. It serves as our catalyst or 'thumbs up' signal to continue the important programming with the HHYF Trottingbreds and hands-on learning" explained Ellen Taylor HHYF Executive Director. "We appreciate OnGait's guidance in getting the listing ready to go live this week. By Friday, someone will have a breeding and hopefully next spring a great looking foal and HHYF will have the additional and very necessary funds to keep HHYF moving forward."
The auction begins Tuesday (Jan. 18) and runs through Thursday (Jan. 20). The opening bid is $7,000; 15 percent non-refundable deposit payable to HHYF is due within three days of auction close and the balance is due upon delivery of live foal.
