Southwind Farms welcomed the first of their Muscle Hill foals on January 13, 2011.
"He is a beautiful colt," said Farm Manager Laura Young. "He weighed 127 pounds. He stood and nursed within two hours. He has the star, head and body of Muscle Hill."
The colt is out of Southwind Prelude and was born at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday.
"Diamond Creek beat us to the punch with a colt out of Silicone Valley," Young noted. "Their Muscle Hill was born on January 12 at 3:30 p.m."
Muscle Hill, the 2009 Horse of the Year, is standing at Southwind Farms in Pennington, NJ.
